The Sultanate of Oman Armed Forces Staff HQ, since it's establishment in 1974, has a

MORALE GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT + PUBLIC RELATIONS that promotes military, social and cultural events.

It publishesthe military cultural magazine Jund OMAN (Soldiersof Oman) and the magazine's monthly news

supplementand anuual omnibus edition. It also presnets armed forces ' radio and TV programmes and

documentary films in collaboration with the Ministry of Information.

The Moral Guidance Dept commemorates religious occassions, holds leactures on social and cultural topics and

organises courses on war media and PSYOPS. In addition, it isues information booklets and arranges visits to sick

and injured military personnel in conjunction with Military Socal Services.
