Fu Hsing Kang College - part of the National Defence University TAIWAN

The Fu Hsing Kang College is located in the Beitou district of Taipei and was established in 1951 - soon after the establishment of Nationalist Chinese goverment on the island of Taiwan. The Fu Hsing Kang College is responsible for training Political Warfare Officers of the Taiwanese Armed Forces. Fu Hsing Kang, whose name in english means ' to recover the mainland' is often called the Political Warfare College in chinese.
The late President Chiang Kei-Shek reestablished the political warfare system in the need to revitalize the nationalist cause and build up his national forces. The Political Officers College was officially founded on July 1, 1951 - the school founding day. On 31 October 1970 the college was renamed the Political Warfare College / Fu Hsing Kang.
Under command of the Ministry of National Defense MND and the General Bureau of Political Warfare, the College forms part of the National Defence University system. It offers basic, refresher and advanced courses in all aspects of political warfare. The College is resposnible for teaching specialist functions such as Psychological Operations, Morale + Discipline, Military Journalism, Public Relations / Military Spokesperson, Combat Camera etc.
