Polish PSYOPS history and tradition can be classified into 3 separate areas of historical reference.
The 1st is the period up until WWII, when the Polish Armed Forces lost to the invading German Armies,and Poland was absorbed in to the Greater German Third Reich.
The 2nd period is the Post War Communist EAST BLOC era ,and thirdly the modern democratic NATO / EU Membership era.
Poland currently plays an important role not only in Iraq but Afghanistan and within NATO as a whole.

Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky Political-Military Academy in Warsaw: Wojskowa Akademia Polityczna im. Feliksa Dzierżyńskiego – was the Soviet style military academy established by communists in Warsaw 1951 - 1990. It was an institution founded for indoctrination of higher command ofthe Polish Land Forces. Political-Military Academy alumni have became further Political commissars in army.
